As part of an ongoing effort to squash bugs in Highlight (the last few system updates weren’t kind to me), I’ve decided to go ahead and virtualize several older OS versions, in order to be able to properly test them instead of relying on what the compiler/tools told me. Two observations:
- wow, there are a lot of bugs the tools don’t catch (missing functions that aren’t marked as unavailable, different window level behaviors, etc)
- what a kick to see the OS as it was 5 years ago.
So, I’ve decided to share the screenshots of brand-new user spaces as they were setup by default (with one small addition 😇)
